Couldn't agree more, Paul. Just like any other form of business promotion, social media is an investment. In this case, it's an investment in time. It's tempting to shake our heads at those businesses not yet engaging in it, but at least we have this: they're giving us a great head-start!

Keep up the good work and the interesting tweets!

A round of applause for this savvy social media head please ladies and gentlemen!!! whoop whoop!

This is spot on paul! SPOT ON!!!! Love it!

I bloody love your posts as they are full of excitement, inspiration and substance!

You are a natural at building up relationships through this space!

I do believe there is an art to this and you have mastered it. I seriously would not be sitting here right now typing on your blog if you hadn't of made an impact-full connection with me.

I've known you 2 weeks max and I feel like I could ask or tell you anything. That's evidence that social media communication done well can maximise any promo in yellow pages or pay per click!

Looking forward to the next round of oommph!

You legend!

Sam 2.0!aka - energiser bunny! :-)

One of the great things about social networking is how far reaching it has become. If you are a believer of the "6° of separation" you quickly realise how likely this is. While I do not participate greatly in the online forums, I agree that they are a great source of social interaction, and knowledge sourcing. As you rightly state, trolls are the worst enemy of any intelligent blogger, and the quality of the participants in the community governments the quality of the information contained within. However, we all have to start somewhere, and online social networking is a great tool to do so.
