Are you struggling for signal strength on your network? Does that trip out to the woodshed always drop your connection?

Well here is the solution!

Introducing Warcom’s antenna upgrade bundle, available with any modem/router purchase!

All of our wireless routers will include standard antennas. These are usually 2dBi antennas and can be sufficient for a few connections in a smaller household, without any brick walls. 2dBi antennas are generally capable of a 20 meter range, with a clear line of sight.

The first upgrade on offer is a 5dBi antenna upgrade. 5dBi antennas offer around double the preformance of the standard antennas and are generally suitable for a larger house, or just to gain a little more signal strength in the corners of your house. For an outlay of around $7.00 per antenna (when bundled with your modem), you can’t really go wrong with this upgrade, no matter your situation.

The other upgrade we offer is the flagship 7dBi antenna, which is the largest size on offer for a simple and direct attachment to the router itself. With a range of up to 100 meters (clear line of sight), these badboys will get you to the woodshed and back! If you live in a several story house, have some brick walls here and there or are just struggling with good signal, we recommend these.

All of our antenna upgrades come with the required amount of antennas – For example a Billion 7401VGP R3 will only include a single antenna in the upgrade, while a Billion 7800N or DrayTek 2820Vn will include all three antennas for your upgrade. The standard 2dBi antennas are also included with the upgrade.

Hi there,

Just a quick post today to introduce you to the new Vigor 2710ne from Draytek. This little beauty has been a long awaited here at Warcom. I personally had my name down for one these a couple of months ago, but ended up going for the 2710n because I just couldn’t wait any longer.

So just what are we looking at here – what’s all the hype about?
