You think that this dual screen is an awesome idea, but you have one issue, you’re outputting from a laptop, or computer that only has one output! But Matrox has thought of that for you, providing you with multi monitor support from one output. You’ll be looking at purchasing the Matrox Dualhead2go.If you need to read more about it there is a blog written on the triplehead2go, which is essentially the same thing, just with one more output. Triplehead2go blog.
Have you ever heard of the Maxtrox triplehead2go? If not, then prepare to have your mind blown. The Matrox offers the ultimate surround graphics experience for professionals and gaming enthusiasts alike. This versatile new product enables users looking to add three digital monitors to their workstation, desktop computer or notebook with a maximum resolution of up to 3840×1024 (triple 1280×1024). Coming in two forms, analog or digital version to cover all your video needs.
How it Works—A Look Inside the Box
The “magic” of making one display into three happens inside the TripleHead2Go box. The TripleHead2Go takes advantage of the existing graphics processor unit (GPU) within your computer.
Your system GPU renders an ultra-wide image into its frame buffer.
TripleHead2Go uses Matrox patent-pending technology to divide the display information into three display outputs.
These signals are then passed through the three monitor connectors (either standard digital (DVI) or analog (VGA), depending on the version of the product) and to the TripleHead2Go box.
No pixels are added, dropped, scaled, or otherwise changed in this process. TripleHead2Go “magic” preserves all the on-screen information provided by the original monitor signal.
Example of Connecting a Laptop Display 1 is connected to TripleHead2Go, while Display 2 represents the laptop. Display 1 is treated as a single display three times as wide as a typical display. This is output to your three additional monitors.
TripleHead2Go Digital Edition doesn’t require opening a computer, inserting parts into it, or replacing any hardware. This solution uses the existing hardware of a system for 2D, 3D, and video acceleration. This means no voided warranties-an important consideration in a corporate rollout. The Matrox triplehead2go can also be used as a splitter for screens, projecting the same image onto all 3 screens, or using the simple software that comes with the triplehead2go to run 3 seperate monitors.

Any real geeks knows, the bigger the screen – the better the experience!
Dual and triple monitor setups are fast becoming a much sort after solution in countless work places. (I run dual screens at warcom)!
They can also be setup for some ‘seriously awesome’ racing sim cockpit setups!
Here’s an example of what a Triple screen Rfactor can do! Check this Youtube video out:
To run such a setup you need to pickup a few things.
Matrox Triple head2go – An AMAZING bit of kit that will allow you to display the image across the 3 monitor screens. They are worth every penny! Not only is Rfactor supported, but countless other racing games are also supported as well as flight simulators! (link: Supported games)
Logitech G27 steering wheel – The ULTIMATE racing sim wheel. It has a H shifter, F1 style paddle shifters realistic pedal and Rpm shift lights.. The list keeps going on (Hand stiched leather, dual force feedback motors etc).
Both items are available online in our store. If you get one set up PLEASE email through some photos!
So as they say, the bigger the better and in this case, I couldn’t agree more!
Really – how can you go wrong, with two, or three monitors!
It’s a proven fact that productivity levels increase by around 50% (according to info I’ve read on the internet (so it must be true?!). Staff will have more room, slash, screen real estate, for creative freedom, and best of all, they -should- hopefully be much more organised!
But don’t take my word for it, here’s just a few case studies from Matrox users!
