If you’re looking for the fastest solid state drives of 2011 then Warcom has you covered! With time being so precious these days there’s no time to wait around for computers to boot up or files to open!

The Fastest SSD of 2011

OCZ SSD 2.5″ SATA3 Vertex 3 MaxIO

OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS Solid State Drives unleash the performance potential of the SATA 6Gbps interface, leading the speed revolution in this next-generation solution. Featuring the latest Sandforce controller design, OCZ designed the Vertex 3 Max IOPS to push the limits in read/write rates to blaze past the competition with up to 85,000 IOPS maximum 4k write performance. These latest drives take productivity, gaming, and multimedia applications to the next level to work in perfect symmetry with the latest enthusiast platforms.

Built with the quality, reliability, and durability that lives up to the OCZ name, the Vertex 3 Max IOPS Series easily integrates into today’s mobile and desktop platforms and features TRIM support to optimize performance over the drive’s lifespan as the ultimate Windows 7 companion. Vertex 3 SSDs are available in 120GB and 240GB capacities and come backed by a 3-Year Warranty.

  • Max Read: up to 550MB/s

 Corsair Force GT – 240GB

The Force Series GT is designed for enthusiasts who demand the fastest performance available. It uses the SandForce SF-2280 SSD Processor, with native support for SATA 6Gb/s (SATA 3), combined with ONFI synchronous flash memory.

Force Series GT SSD upgrades deliver outstanding read/write performance and significantly faster system response, boot times, and application load times than SATA 2 solid-state drives, with out-of-box performance of up to 85K Random Write IOPS, read speeds of up to 555 MB/s, and write speeds of up to 525 MB/s. The use of synchronous flash memory makes the Force GT Series particularly adept at reading and writing non-compressible data, such as video and music files.

All Force Series GT models are also backward compatible with SATA 2, and include an easy-to-use 3.5” adapter for use in both laptop and desktop PCs.

“Force Series GT is our fastest, most flexible line of SSDs,” said Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair. “The new 180GB and 240GB models are ideal for premium systems which require large amounts of high-performance storage.”

  • 555MB/s read
  • 525MB/s write
These SSD drives are the fastest in the commercial world, but there is PCIE solid state drives that can transfer at 1GB/s but you’d be looking at a couple of grand!
