B&W Zeppelin iPod Speakers @ warcom

Friday, May 15th, 2009

iPod speakers have been the ‘must have’ accessory in the iPod world for some time now. And as with all technology, they seem to get better and better everyday.

So I bet you’re asking “Adam buddy, what’s the best speaker system for my iPod?”

Well being honest, I’ve never had an iPod, I’ve never really used an iPod but after a bit of a read up, digging through countless good reviews and feedback from warcom customers, I’m convinced that the B&W Zeppelin‘s are the best speakers out there, if not the best iPod accessory on the market!

B&W Zeppelin iPod Speakers!

The B&W Zeppelin iPod Speakers are an integrated iPod speaker system from Bowers & Wilkins, makers of the speakers that much of the music on your iPod will have been monitored on. The Zeppelin will fill a room with crisp, deep, life like stereo sound, and deliver musical detail that you wont believe your iPod could deliver. That’s because the two have so much in common: blissfully simple design and world-leading technologies that let you get the most out of your music.

Not sure if you noticed, but that paragraph was completely copy/pasted from warcom! I know it’s unoriginal but it pretty much sums up a great product produced by a top quality manfacturer. I watched a youtube video the other day detailing the unpacking/set-up of the item. It’s a good sized unit, shaped like a football and capable of some serious sound. I’m actually considering getting a iPod, just so I can use these speakers!

So without further ado,

Head over to warcom for the speakers your iPod has been waiting for, and order them today! (stock is limited).

Linksys/Cisco VoIP Phones at warcom

Friday, May 1st, 2009

So you’ve obviously heard about this new VoIP craze, you may have even set yourself up with a nice new VoIP capable DrayTek modem and possibly a Naked DSL plan as well. All you really need now is a capable VoIP handset (or twelve) and I bet you’re wondering which is the best one out there? Well unfortunately I don’t have the answer to that just yet. But in the mean time, I’m going to attempt to answer one of the frequently ask questions here at warcom.

“What is the difference between the best-selling Linksys SPA VoIP phones?”

Before we go into the specifics, I’m going to simplify things a little by listing the standard features of all of these great VoIP phones including:

  • Dual switched Ethernet ports
  • 802.3af PoE
  • A high resolution graphical LCD display
  • Speakerphone
  • 2.5mm head-set port

Now let’s start with the base Linksys SPA922. This one is a one line, two call appearance handset and is ideal for a residence or business using a hosted IP telephony service.

The Linksys SPA922 supports one line with two call appearances and provides support for three way conferencing, attended call transfer, and placing a call on hold to answer an incoming call. The line can be configured as a unique phone number (or extension), or can be configured to share a number that is assigned to multiple phones

Check out the Linksys SPA922 here.

Moving on to the Linksys SPA942. This one has two active lines and up to four call appearances with independent configuration and registration. This one is available at warcom and is our best-selling VoIP phone!

Extra features on the Linksys SPA942 include it’s two active lines and, with a simple software update, the Linksys SPA942 is upgradeable to a four line phone. Each line can be independently configured to use a unique phone number (or extension), or can be configured to use a shared number that is assigned to multiple phones. Creating a full featured two or four line business class IP telephone supporting Power over Ethernet 802.3af

Now to the range topping Linksys SPA962! This monster of a VoIP phone has six lines and a full colour display! This is a business class IP phone.

Extra features on the Linksys SPA962 include six active lines and a high resolution color LCD display. Again, each line can be independently configured to use a unique phone number (or extension), or can be configured to use a shared number that is assigned to multiple phones.

And last, and no means least — the Linksys SPA962!

The power supply for the SPAs is sold separately and will be required if PoE functionality is not implemented. Available at warcom, the PA100 power supply

Hopefully this helps you decide which VoIP handset best suits your needs. If not, give us a call and we’ll sort you out.

Cheers,
Adam.
